I wish I had this pattern when I started knitting socks. I had such problems with the heel that I didn’t finish my first pair of socks for over a year. I just couldn’t understand how to do the heel flap and I needed some help from a friends mother in law (and her patience) until I got it. With this pattern it would have been easier, I am sure. The little pictures that lead you to every step are great. Absolutely perfect for beginners! For advanced knitters it is a quick knit. Perfect for unicolour or hand dyed wool. I love the result.
